Next Thursday (July 22), TT the Bears in Cambridge will be hosting our Bear v. Reggae show featuring Sour D and The Flo, two of our favorite local reggae acts along with The Release and Harbortown. Its a guaranteed night of funk and drunk.
Headlining the show is Sour D. Sour D hails from Reading, MA and has been gigging around the Boston area since early 2008. The band has covers ranging from artists like Rage Against the Machine to Sublime, mixed in creative original jams, Sour D will always give you something to dance to. The Flo, self-described as experimental progressive rock fusion with a Kung-Fu Grip, will also be playing at TT's. The Flo has been playing music together for the better part of 6 years, The Flo has continued to evolve as a band. We cover all styles and genres of music and can be best described as upbeat, high-energy rock music. Their set will include songs off their new EP "Dulcet Freedom".
