No Contracts Needed Kick Off Last Night at McGann's Pub

The No Contracts Needed Rompetition kicked off it’s fourth year last night at McGann’s Pub, and boy was it a great night. Kicking things off for round one were Matt Koelsch and the Allies, Pleasant Sweaters, GravitaS, Those Wolves Actually Happened, and Vanzetti.

The NCN Rompetition combines use of online voting by the fans, voting at the venue, and secret judges to decide the winner of each round. The first rounds take place over the course of this weekend and next. Check the line-up, and learn more about buying tickets online here. The semi-finals and finals are being held in March. This morning, the UNregular Morning Show on UNregular Radio announced that Those Wolves Actually Happened won last night’s battle.

Tonight, at McGann’s Pub, you can see Ryan Jackson Troika, No Soap Radio, Boogie Bros, The Battleships Cometh, Seven Shades of Grey, byJupiter, and Squallie Greenthumb. At the moment, The Battleships Cometh are in the lead in the online vote. Click here to vote for tonight’s bands online. If you’re coming to the show tonight (and, you better be), you’ll get a chance to vote for your favorite act in person, too.
